Summer Self-Care: Pamper Your Skin with DIY Castor Oil Face Masks

That hot sunny days of summers are here. Every season has its own good and bad, but if someone asks you to pick one of the season that you least like then most of us will pick summers! As it brings along humidity, sweating, sunstroke and what not. Here are some of the DIY summer self-care hacks to try this summer for getting clear refreshing skin!

1. Castor Oil based DIY Night Gel Mask for Summer

If you need to repair your skin then night time is the magical spell that works. Here is the best night gel for glowing skin in summer. All you need is 3 key ingredients:

  • Aloevera Gel
  • Tomato Pulp
  • Castor Oil

DIY:

Just mix 2 drops of organic cold-pressed castor oil with 1 tablespoon of aloevera gel and juicy tomato pulp.

Use this gel every night on your skin to keep your skin hydrated even in summers.

2. Castor Oil Based DIY Cucumber Face Mask

Ingredients:

  • Cucumber
  • Beetroot
  • Red Lentils Powder (Masoor Dal)
  • 2 drops of Organic Castor Oil

DIY:

Make puree of cucumber and beetroot add lentil powder to it with 1-2 drops of cold-pressed castor oil. Apply this thick facemask with the help of brush, let it naturally dry for 15-20mins and then just slowly rub it with wet hands and remove it.  3. Castor Oil Based DIY Fullers Earth (Multani Mitti) Face Mask

 

Ingredients:

Fuller Earth 

Lemon Juice

Castor Oil

DIY:

In one tablespoon of fuller earth squeeze one lemon and add 2 drops of castor oil. Give it a good mix and apply it on your face, neck and hands using cotton ball or brush. Let it remain for 20-30mins and then rub it gently followed by complete wash and dab dry with soft napkin. This facemask will make sure that your oily skin is deep cleaned while not snatching away essential moisture on your face.

 

  1. Castor Oil Infused Easy DIY Avacado Mask

Ingredients:

  • 2 pieces of Avacado
  • 2 Walnut Kernels 
  • Organic castor oil

DIY:

Mash pieces of avacado, add course powder of walnut kernels and add 2 drops of aranda oil. Avacado is rich in vitamins (A, B, C, and E) and minerals (potassium, iron). It helps in keeping your skin acne free, fading scar marks and giving glowing skin.

 5. Castor Oil DIY Banana Mask

Ingredient:

  • Banana
  • Turmeric powder
  • Almond
  • Castor Oil

DIY:

Mash banana, add pinch of turmeric powder, coarsely grinded almonds and 1-2 drops of ericare organic castor oil. Apply the thick paste on your face and let it remain on face for 30mins. Wash it with cold water and feel the dazzling glow on your face.

 6. DIY Oats Face Ubtan with Benefits of Amudham

Ingredient:

Oats

Rose Water

Amudham (Erand Tel)

DIY:

Mix oats powder, rose water and amudham. Let this mix soak for 10-15mins and then apply thick layer of it on your face evenly with your hands. After 10 mins rub your face with wet hands for 5-10 mins and then wash it. Oats hydrates, safeguards, exfoliates, and deep cleanses your skin. Oats mask can boost collagen production, improves your skin complexion, and reduces skin inflammation.

7. DIY Coffee Face Mask 

 Ingredient:

  • Coffee Powder
  • Eranda Tel

DIY:

Take two tablespoons of coffee powder and one teaspoon of eranda tel. Mix the two together to make a paste. Apply and leave for 15 minute. Rinse off.

Use this face mask twice a week for best results. Coffee is rich in antioxidants that can boost anti-aging and easily removes dead skin cells.

8. DIY Papaya and EriCare Cold-Pressed Castor Oil Face Mask

Papaya 

EriCare Castor Oil

 DIY:

Papaya is rich in Vitamin A, C and E making it the right choice for skin care as its ideal for healing and exfoliating. Just take 2 pieces of papaya, mash it and add 2 drops of castor oil.
